United Forces Against Cancer is proud to announce a very special fashion show. This RFL team is made from some of the best clothes designers of Second Life. And they have united their forces for one cause: make cancer history.

This show will present you the latest releases and Relay for Life donation items from:

You will be able to get the donation items at the runway. All the proceeds go to cancer research.

Free purple tops by Patchwork

Today is paint SL purple day to show our support to people fighting cancer. And if you don't know what to wear, our United Forces member Prudence Skytower is giving away for free a male and a female top.

You will find them in the purple ribbons inside Patchwork store.

PAINT Second Life PURPLE!

Join us, show your support and wear purple on June 1st.

On the first day of June, if you are going for a stroll or if you are having a party with friends, wear a purple ribbon, toss on purple clothes, turn your house lavendar even - and yell out to the world that you support the fight in against cancer!

This idea came out of a Relay For Life Group Chat, where the subject was about giving support to those who are in the waiting stage in their fight against cancer, pointing out how hard and scary that part is and how support from others helps so much easy, just knowing others are there.

When Jasmine, Zoie, Tari, Kat, Nikkie, Spaci, Jane - relay volunteers - started talking about how in real life whole towns would turn purple to show support for the fight against cancer; they decided it would be an awesome idea to do the same here in SL. Not everyone has money to give or even time to spend, but everyone can wear purple.

COME ON! Purple Day doesn't cost one red cent or one virtual linden. Instead you have the chance to show your support for the fight against cancer just by helping to turn SL purple. Let's show RL that we are ONE WORLD and WE SUPPORT EACH OTHER!

The New Champagne Rooms is proud to support Relay for Life (RFL), an amazing event started by the American Cancer Society. In 2008 it was the most successful fundraising event in the history of Second Life, raising more than $118,000 USD. The New Champagne Rooms has teamed up with United Forces Against Cancer and this year we have a goal to raise $250,000 USD. Come and help us reach our goal and support cancer research.

The lovely Champagne Ladies will be on stage at May 31st at 1pm SLT to tease and tantalize in a traditional burlesque style. And as a special treat, the vivacious Miss Vivienne Dufaux from the Original Moulin Rouge will be there to spin music for your pleasure! Being vintage burlesque this will be a mature show, but the lovely Champagne Ladies know how to put on a great show with class and just the right amount of sass!

Come for the show and then stay to dance the night away in the upstairs ballroom. Also featured will be special items designed by our vintage vendors just for RFL. This is an event you will not want to miss!

RFL United Forces & swim - Saturday 23rd May 2009 3pm SLT 12am CET at the Basement

United Forces Against Cancer, a Relay for Life team (cancer research) has decided to get united once again the creme of RL and SL DJs for a very special techno night. All the DJs have accepted to donate their tips to Relay for Life.

It's with great honour that we receive the RL duo Monosurround from Berlin for a very special set. They will be playing with the delicious Bridgitte Boucher and the creative 2ndthoughts Brando aka Noraj Cue

And because we don't like laggy parties, the dresscode is... swimwear

We are united to fight cancer with techno beats!!
